Driver & Passenger Sun Protection
Window tint installed on your vehicle is designed to protect you from the sun’s harmful UV rays, primarily your skin and eyes.
There is more to heat rejection than just the darkness of the window film. Just because a film is darker doesn’t necessarily mean it will block out more heat – visible light is only one piece of the puzzle.
Ultimately, a combination of factors including a film’s technology will determine the amount of heat that it rejects. For instance, a very light multi-layer optical film can reject more heat than carbon film that’s twice as dark.
So with all of these different factors to consider, wouldn’t we be better off comparing films with a heat rejection measurement that takes into account the heat from UV, visible light and infrared?
That’s why the best way to understand a film’s level of heat rejection is to look at its Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER). This measurement takes into consideration heat from the whole solar spectrum, covering infrared, visible light and UV. Put simply, if a film has 50% TSER, it rejects 50% of the sun’s heat.
Our automotive window film can provide up to SPF 1,000 protection that effectively blocks over 99% of harmful UV rays.
Ceramic Window Tint
Ceramic window tint is made up of both non-metallic and non-conductive materials. It blocks about half of the solar heat that would normally enter through your windows from infrared light. Ceramic tint also give you the advantage of maximum visibility, day or night. Similar to carbon tinting, ceramic films don’t interfere with smart phone signals, GPS, or other devices typically used in a vehicle. Another advantage of ceramic over other types of window film is a resistance to fading or glare. Another benefit is that it renders your glass nearly shatterproof. Ceramic tint can also block 99% of harmful ultraviolet light from your vehicle’s interior, protecting your skin as well as your ride.
Nano-Ceramic Window Tint
Nano-Ceramic window tint is made up of both nonconductive and nonmetallic materials, just like ceramic tint. It blocks about 80% of the solar heat that would normally enter through your windows from infrared light while still providing good visibility during the day or night. Nano-ceramic window tints help in protecting the interior of your vehicle from degrading and fading. Nano-ceramic tints feature a patented technology that can guarantee protection from sun rays while maintaining a clear appearance. This type of tint also blocks 99% of harmful ultraviolet light from the interior and allows less warmth to penetrate the cabin, which means your vehicle will feel cooler and more comfortable.
